Mensa is the largest and oldest high IQ society in the world. It is a non-profit organization open to people who score at the 98th percentile or higher on a standardized, supervised IQ or other approved intelligence test.
East Central Ohio Mensa is one of 125 chapters of American Mensa, Ltd. ECOM’s area covers the major cities of Akron, Canton, Youngstown, Medina, Mansfield, Ashland, Richland, and Wooster. We have an official meeting once a month, and a speaker is normally scheduled. There are other dining out events, museum visits, picnics, trivia nights, and games nights. The group has around 300 members.
