ECOM sponsors its own college scholarship award each year. Residents and students in the ECOM 14-county area are eligible to apply.
The scholarship is funded via donations to the Karl J. Roden Scholarship Fund at the Akron Community Foundation, year-round fund raising projects, as well as ECOM’s own scholarship fundraising activities.
The scholarship is awarded based upon an essay (and careful following of instructions!) Apply online from September 15 to January 15 at The Mensa Foundation Scholarships. Scholarship winners are notified in the Summer, prior to the school Fall term.
