ECOM sponsors its own college scholarship award each year. Residents and students in the ECOM 14-county area are eligible to apply.
The scholarship is funded via donations to the Karl J. Roden Scholarship Fund at the Akron Community Foundation, year-round fund raising projects, and ECOM’s Fall scholarship auction. The auction’s great fun and reputed to be one of the first of its kind in the country.
The scholarship is awarded based upon an essay (and careful following of instructions!) Apply online from September 15 to January 15 at The Mensa Foundation Scholarships. Scholarship winners are notified in the Summer, prior to the school Fall term.
